It's in my blood.
Daughter of lifelong volunteer firefighter Captain Franck Tremaine of Jackson, CA, I grew up in the firehouse and developed a deep love of the fire service culture.
Firefighting goes back generations in my family, and my husband and I have joined that tradition, as well.
I'm drawn to document the lives and work of firefighters, and to share those stories, with the hope of creating a greater respect and appreciation for the true weight of the profession.
